Went to sign up for the June Barber event, and to my surprise my group selection had grown to include Advanced group, it was an unexpected surprise. While I was pumped to see that, I had to make a decision, to stay in my comfort zone with the intermediate group or put my big girl panties on and run with the fast group, well I signed up for advanced group, excited and a bit anxious at the same time. As Trevor always says "play nice " in advanced, so all you fast guys (Dave Brooks, Shawn, Jimmy, Clay, Felix, Keith, Larry, Daniel, Alec, Aziz, Mike, Michael, Joey, Marc, Ed, Charlie, Jay, etc...) don't buzz me to close! lol Guess I should thank who ever gave the go ahead for me to bump up. Thank you!!

I believe you and I were riding together in I this past weekend @ Barber.. I have some video's.. You were looking great out there and certainly were hard to catch.. That bike sounds AMAZING and there were parts of the track you were leaving darkies!!

You will be fine in A man, just like they say, ride your ride and let the other more experienced A riders figure out how to get around you.

I know it will be ok, probably better because the skills of the riders, looking forward to it, need to be on my A game! I would love to see some video of the 1190, post them up on Youtube when you get a chance.

Was on the site today looking at future dates and saw I now have the option for advance also ....even though I have not been officially bumped. Perhaps someone gave you the bump or perhaps it's now an option on the site?
Not real sure.. was just reading your post and saw the coincidence based on what I saw today on my account.
A month ago when i signed up for tally, i didn't have the advance option but did today out of the blue.
Again....not saying you aren't A material and can leave the "meatgrinder".....just saw the coincidence.

One thing I can tell you with absolute confidence, Trevor will not open the advanced tab unless he or someone else has recommended it, and he feels positive that the individual has the ability to do so. We both earned it, see you in June!

Hmmm.....so someone recommended me also? Thats pretty cool.

I know you have earned the spot. Takes alot of skill and seat time to get where you are. Its well deserved and certainly earned!
I remember seeing the A guys my very first t-day thinking " Holy damn......i wanna do that!"
I was like a kid in a toy store.....

Have fun and just remember to enjoy yourself.....no need for shaky nerves. You were recommended for a reason.

    .....see ya track side.

Mack - You're ready! You're one of the smoothest and most predictable riders out there and you dang sure have the experience. Go out there and still ride your ride and don't worry about the others and everyone will "play nice" :)

Not trying to take anything away from anyone's skills, but I'm very new and not been bumped out of novice yet (maybe at Nola?) and when I signed up for this week the offered me novice, intermediate, and advanced.

I think there is a glitch with the system.

I was thinking there had to be a glitch because I believe you have to be taken over to registration by the coach doing the "bump" and your name provided so that it is in the system.. I doubt Trevor know's everyone's name; or the coaches for that matter... "Hey, that guy on the R6.. yeah bump him in the system" ...LOL

I think he was riding great don't get me wrong but for it to be automatically done sounded kinda off IMO.

I also have all three groups suddenly available, and considering I think the last thing I did at an STT event was wipe out 20 seconds into the first Intermediate session of the day, I'm kind of doubting a coach thought "yeah, that guy needs to be in A." So I'm guessing there's a glitch in the system somewhere.

That said, I would love to see that RX on the track sometime!

Mack, You will do great in Advanced. I have followed you many times when coaching Intermediate, you could drop a dime on the entry and apex, and you would hit it every time. You have taken your time, built speed gradually, and it shows. Looking forward to riding with you again!

I am sorry to disappoint you, but this is a bug on the site under certain circumstances. it is completely my fault and i am working on fixing it.

Tea their may be a glitch, but since I have been ragged about staying in intermediate, I planned on moving to Advanced soon anyway, this was just thing to get me to make the decision to just do it!

LMAO!!! Marc that is hilarious! I have the approval of one higher than the internet gods, Felix has told me on multiple occasions that when ever I wanted to make the move I could. Now I am quit aware that if Trevor says no, then it is no, but I have a feeling that will not happen.
