Clean, safe, 6 foot passing rules WILL be in effect and being observed by the staff AND corner workers. Have fun for sure, but use common sense, be courteous, and don't worry about lap times.
And remember to watch for deer... They were on track the last time I went to barber... One ran from turn 2 all the way to the back straight. I think Vernlux got a video of it...
Sorry, no video from me. I just bought a GoPro a short time ago and the only time I've used it so far was Tally in June and NCM in July. But you are right......I've seen Deer on the track before. One of the events last year there were 4 of them in the 2/3 Turn as you were starting down the hill towards the bottom.
Oh okay well the guy I'm thinking of has orange/bronze colored gsxr , can't find his name one of the control riders... Anyways here's the video he got that day. You can see the deer run across right before the bridge... 10 secs in
when they said they sometimes have deer on track I thought "yeah planes fall out the sky sometimes too" lol. It seems like a common problem at barber. Seems like they would have people come thin out the herd some if they're that common
Well, every track probably has something. Jennings has the "gator", and NCM has bunches of turtles. I worked Lead Instructor at NCM in May, both days, and the only RED FLAG that we had the entire weekend....both days... was because of a BIG turtle on the track, after you go through T13 and down the straight with the dip.
Dont know if i should post this, but i will. take it down if you want... control rider saves a high side, museum corner on sunday, intermediate group second to last session... maybe he would like to see his save... with all the other "excitement" we had this weekend, this was great to watch him save this!
I was going to point it out that it was you, but didn't know if you were wanting to own up to it, or to brag about what a great save it was. Nice Save Michael.
