2001 SV650 - Clear Title in my name. Bike has not been ridden on the street since April 2009, but has current tags and can be switched to street legal in about 20-30 minutes. Bike has been ridden at STT events over the past several years. It has been low-sided twice at the track, once on the left and once on the right. Bike is straight and I have had absolutely no issues with it at all. The only reason I'm selling is to buy a 600. Bike has approximately 17k miles on it. The odometer was replaced after the 2nd low-side at Mid-Ohio a few years back. It currently reads 4161 and the old odometer was around 13k when it was replaced. Here are the mods done to the bike: Fender Eliminator Low Profile rear turn signals on the tail section Race-Tech .90 fork springs Race-Tech Cartridge Fork Emulators Re-valved & Re-spung GSXR rear shock - set up for 175 lbs. Holeshot Slip-on exhaust can R6 Throttle Tube Galfer Stainless Steel Brake Lines Vesrah Sintered Front Brake Pads Michelin Power Pure Tires - 2 Trackdays on them Frame Sliders Stomp grip Engine Ice Coolant Rear-Set Adapter plates to move them back 1" and up 1" New 525 Chain and sprockets recently (4 trackdays on them) - Stock gearing Clip-ons vs. the stock handlebars on the risers Battery moved to under rear seat to accomodate shock w/ reservoir Safety wired - for STT 'A' group I have the stock headlight, front turn signals, mirrors to put it back to street legal. The gas tank does have a couple small dents and several scratches on the left hand side from the low side at Mid-O. The tail section also has some scratches from this same low side. The right side of the tank has a very small ding which did not chip or crack the paint from a low side at Grattan in 2005. The tank does not leak. Bike runs strong and handles very well. Oil & filter changed after every other track day. I'm asking $2100 which includes a rear pitbull stand and miscellaneous extras I have laying around (rear brake lever, shift lever, etc.) Can help with local delivery. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
Great bike at a great price! I rode Pauls SV at Grattan couple of times and despite the dent in the tank, it rides straight and true - a lot of fun passing the big bikes on the back side. Paul takes good care of his toys, buy with confidence.
bump for a good guy, hope this sells, would love to see you on and inline 4. you will be smokin fast then! ski
Thanks guys......really looking forward to next season (hopefully on a new machine!) ski...you better be out there with us by then!
Nearly identical to my track horse. Where'd you get that chain guard? Never seen one like that before.
Don't recall exactly where I got the chain guard. I think someone was selling them on the SV board years ago.
