just wondering if anyone uses one of these http://www.r-r-racing.com/1/pictures/Subframe/index.html just looking for some feedback.
The aluminum subframes are nice if you are chasing tenths of seconds on laptimes to qualify for a grid or championships. But for trackday use the first time you dump your bike that thing is going to bend and / or break. The purpse of that is to lighten the bike up to reduce sprung weight. They are quite fragile. You may also need to build / design places to mount the battery and electronics on the bike as well. It will require some custom fabrication to make everything mount good and tidy. Understand that when that thing snaps off in a crash you don't want your power commander and PC to go flying either. Nobody likes an easter egg hunt at the end of a trackday looking for peices of their motorcycle in the weeds on the outside of turn 6.
