Ok selling the full set of hot bodies plastics, plus gas tank (including fuel pump). As an added bonus I'll include free race gas smell with the tank. The wrap was done for the previous owner who competed in 2012's AMA daytona sportbike round at Road America. The body work has never been crashed but isn't perfect either, I'd call it "race condition" in that there are a couple blemishes, particularly on the lower, but it still looks great and is a major attention getter. Pretty much every time I brought the bike out this season people would stop by to look, take pictures, or ask what drugs I was on. I had fun with it, but have a diferent set of body work to mount up for this season. $700 takes it, local pickup (chicagoland area) or trackside drop off at autobahn please, shipping would be expensive.
You should market them as "intimidation plastics". All you have to do is get next to someone going into a turn and youll scare them into backing out!:jester:
Hey it worked on Jeff, even in the pits, I got him to pit on the other side of the padock a few times...
What is the purpose of hot bodies plastics? I see these for sale a lot and curious the point of them, more aerodynamic? Just curious, first track day planned this summer.
They're fiberglass so they are a lot easier to repair than your OEM ABS plastic parts, they also weigh less, survive crashes better, and allow you to remove your headlights/tail lights so those don't get damaged either.
tanks are identical on the 13, they just use the ugly side skirts instead of the trim panels from the 09-12, that was the only change.
