2013 zx6r $6500

Bought new in August 2014 from Big St. Charles Motorsports with the intention of using as a street/track bike. Put 650 miles on it to break it in properly and changed the oil to full synthetic Mobil 1 Racing 4t motorcycle specific oil with K&N filter and flushed out the antifreeze and filled with Engine Ice (regular antifreeze not allowed for track). Oil and filter changed again at approximately 3150 miles (changing oil and filter at 2500 mile intervals). After riding on track I discovered I didn't have any desire to ride street any longer so if I had to guess, the bike has about 1500 street miles and the rest are track time miles, odometer is at 5425 as of this posting. I am not a racer, this bike has NOT been raced. It is however safety wired for Intermediate level track day riding. It is completely stock with no modifications other than being prepped for track use which includes being safety wired for Intermediate track use, rear turn signal/plate holder assembly removed, mirrors removed, fuses for headlights and taillight removed, passenger pegs zip tied and headlights, taillight and front turn signals taped. Have all removed parts and will put the bike back into street ready condition at your request. I am a mid pack Intermediate class level rider so don't confuse track usage with racing, it's been ridden at a moderate pace by an adult on a race track. It has never been dropped and is in almost new condition. Has some wear on the exhaust pipe and left swing arm from my boots rubbing against it and some scratches on the rims from tire changes which would be easily touched up and this bike would then be in perfect condition. Bike comes with all original taken off parts (put back on at your request), front and rear SpeedMetal stands with swing arm spools installed and a T Rex trailer restraint system. Price is firm and no trades as I already bought another bike for continued track day only riding. Pictures taken on July 30th, 2015, contact for more. you need that bike Greg! So do I I was at Trackfest saturday and would have loved to take a look at it.

 

Greg should buy this bike and use it as a tool to train a 14 year old kid on how to ride a 600cc bike.

I'm passing ones for sale to a friend looking for a track bike.

 

This bike has not been sold yet! I still have it and will be at Putnam with it this Sunday because my other bike isn't finished yet. Somebody buy this thing before I have to pay my insurance premium at the end of the month, lol!

I have insurance because I have a loan on it and it's required. That's kinda why I've decided to get a dedicated track bike now that I'm no longer riding street. Will be at Putnam Sunday, have a white 5x8 v-nose enclosed trailer pulled by a white VW Jetta with Missouri tags. I'll be in I group.

 

I'm in the same boat...but I would have full coverage/comprehensive anyway even if I didn't have a loan. When you have over $10k in a bike, I think it's worth the $35/month which is what I'm paying for mine (I took liability off, since I don't need that) in the case of an accident to and from the track when the bike is on the trailer, or in case it gets stolen or my garage catches on fire.

 

Won't argue on carrying insurance but I'd like to loose the loan since I bought another bike for track only use. I'm literally selling this bike for what I owe on it right now + - $50 or so.

Thanks for the bump, lol! I'll be at Barber for Labor Day weekend and then possibly at Blackhawk Farms on the 13th. I do a lot of track days so I'm sure we'll meet at some point and I'll be on a yellow Ducati 748 which will be easier to spot. A lot of green zx6r's out there.

 

I plan on being at Blackhawk. Stop by and say hi.
