too bad he probaly would have one the first one too if he didnt run of the track in turn 3. That being said im a Haga fan so i wasnt too upset
i watched race #2 at my desk this afternoon during lunch, and I actually laughed out loud when Haga gave Bayliss a kiss. I'm rooting for Spies, but I can't be upset if Haga stays ahead of him in overall points.
You know, I was rooting for Haga all last year. But, this year I'm just going to sit back and watch the competition. Every race, there are a dozen different guys who can win a race. That will make for a great season....Congrats to Ben, and I do wish him continued success...
agreed, the field seems so stacked this year its going to be a great series. the first race had me on my seat the whole time, the suzuki boys really showed up and put up a great fight. there until the last few turns i thought he had it.
I'm a fan of the sport, so as long as the racing is enjoyable. Its nice to see someone who was overlooked by all of MotoGP do so well. Sort of like when Bayliss substituted for the last race of the year and clears off making the rest of the regulars look like a bunch of loafers.
Spies Well, I have to say that I am a Ducati fan, loved it evertime Troy and Casey got a win. It is great that now finally Nicky will be riding for Ducati. But, I am not that big of a Haga fan even though he is very fast, and I even ride with a Haga replica helment it is just not the same as having Troy, for me it is like Rossi going back to Ducati I wouldn't like it because he is the overdog. Therefore, even though he is riding a Yamahaha, I am pulling for Ben this year. What bad luck when his front tire washed out in race one last weekend, he is like 40 points down now, it will take all season, if ever, to get back those points if Haga stays in the top 3.
i am wishful that haga will stick to his standard was and hopefully wreck sometime this season. That is about the only hope spies has, so here is wishful thinking...
