Just bought my first set. The questions I have are-

    (1) The front has a direction arrow but the rear has none normal.

    (2) These are the 1200--1800 S for the rear and TG for the front. What is the difference from the S/TG.

    (3) I run these at 30 psi correct

    (4) size is 18/67/17 rear 12/60/17 front so im assuming its very close to a 180/17 rear and a 120/17 front for sizing. The front looks very skinny.

Im using Power Races now in 180/55/17 and a 120/70/17 so I was trying to keep this same size in the slick. I wanted the usual 1200/1800 slick combo in the same size I have in the PR race. Its what is advertised on the web site but im wondering if that not what I bought. Im basically totaly confused. Never thought buying a set of slicks could be so difficult. I was going to ask when I bought them but he was very buzy so I dint want to be a pain in the ass. Thanks for any help!

    1. The direction on those tires really doesnt matter because they are "zero degree belts" so they essentially dont care or know which way they are rolling (Michelin owns the patent on this technology). In fact, many riders, including me will flip a slick to get better wear out of it.

    2. you got the right tires. the S is prob. for soft, which means it is not a super hard endurance race tire. Not sure what the TD means, but they ROCK!

    3. yes, 30/30 is a good starting point

    4. Yes, you are correct, the sizes are in cm. The front is similar in profile to a PR-C, more triangulated for better turn in.

dont worry, go out and ride w/ confidence on the tires. You will be super happy w/ them!
