Yeah big girl on the mostly black Kawi, you were stuck behind me for about a lap. i can see now I can get on the gas a lot earlier and I need to stay on the throttle a lot longer.
Jason, thanks for the eval! I spent all weekend trying to perfect my, turn in points, and brake markers. It was good to know that I was running an A pace(low end), making clean passes, and was running predictable lines, which I thought would be running the same line lap after lap. Being told in A group to use all the track is completely different than telling I group to use all the track! "I" group it means to blow the lines and flounder all over the track to stay on course!, causing everyone behind you to brake check! :lmao: "A" group it means to use the track to get drive out of the corners. I can't say I'm not a little bit disappointed in not getting the bump, but mainly because "A" group is so much safer. I was nearly run off the track 4 different times by riders who were using "all" the track! LOL Next time I'll get with a coach, get a tow, find the line, brake, and turn in points and should easily get the bump. Nonetheless, What a FANTASTIC weekend!!! STT is really a great :grouphug: no matter what track or state! I'm already going through post track day traumatic depression syndrome!!!
A video from Sunday, Novice. https://youtu.be/NsZMH7tBXCw Not a great one. This was late in the day and people started having accidents left and right. This was after a red flag i think, and i just I couldnt find a rhythm again at all. I have one more uploading now that was (i think) the session before, also ending in a red flag. I think the heat was getting to people.
Another! https://youtu.be/XsTaTKgPEe4 +a low side and two riders off into grass at 4:51 I'm a bit far behind it, so its hard to tell what happened
Ninjeff, Did you record any more of the Novice sessions? I wasn't in the one you posted. Was in group 5 so I was always on the other side of the track (white RSV4).
I normally try and record all the afternoon sessions. This past sunday however, i flipped the camera around to catch me to see how my body position was for the last few sessions, so there isnt much there to watch unless you think im particularly handsome in a helmet. :lmao: Did you ride saturday as well?
I understand..I was hoping to catch a glimpse of myself to observe my body position as well! Unfortunately I only did Saturday..Would have loved to do Sunday and Monday but my body was too beat up from being out of shape. This was my first time at ACC and on the track so I didnt want to over do it. I will do the whole weekend next time though.
Jeff At the end of your vid from North course 9/5/15 that's me in the white jacket and pink/white helmet you're chasing. Oh and thanks for capturing me on your camera. I can see just how much further I need to go on my form and some of my lines. -Rebecca
Ninjeff, I was in your group on Sunday. White and red R6, White leathers, blue helmet. Was fun riding with you guys, and gals! I skipped session 6 and 7, the heat was killer. I take it you skipped the last one? Didn't see you then. -Raph
I think I have Novice vids from all 3 days. Still haven't gone through them because I know I will not exactly be happy with what I see. I was riding like poop. I'll try and get them up and posted for all us Novice Champions!
9/5/2015 North Course Novice, 2nd to last session of the day. Here I am trying to pretend like I am ready for a tow at Intermediate pace, and you'll see coach Fast Eddie and the other rider in our group who was trying to and eventually did get a bump up lose me quick. I'm not quite there yet  https://youtu.be/RomjXQNn4uE
That rocket ship must consume a lot of fuel when you turn on the afterburners. I'm surprised you don't use a parachute to slow it down.
