As a general rule of thumb for any corner, start braking right before your eyes get really big :jester: Start braking when you feel like you need to, never go out and feel scared you might not make it, if you need to use the brake, use it, then just modulate the brake pressure until you're happy with your speed and direction. If you found you were using barely any brake pressure, go in on the next lap a little later on the transition (from throttle to brake) or use less brake pressure at first and add it in as you need it, work up slowly, trail braking allows you flexibility if you misjudge, just stay on the brake a bit until you get that bike turned in a direction you're happy with. See my video above where I completely blow the corner by trying to get one extra pass in than I should have, I just stuck with the brake until the bike was turned, then back on the throttle.
Haha, definitely have had that feeling. Then, as I start to lean I realize, "well shit, this bike can handle a lot more than my stomach!"
Lord knows JT never falls down :lmao: Come on JT your bike has been down more than a $2 hooker on dollar night....
