Hi! I'm a new member of SBTT, riding a 2001 Ducati 748 mono. Looking to meet some fellow Duc riders and get some set up tips if possible. This is the first time I've ridden my 748 at the track. I've had several track days over the last few years (riding Hondas) and a two day school with Jason Pridemore. Looking forward to seeing what the Duc has to offer. Any advice is welcome! Thanks!
Sorry, I won't be there...I'm not sure but there might be someone there offering suspension set up services for a nominal fee. The other thing that you could do is set your ride height though that's more of a personal preference. I can measure what I've got my ride height adjuster stretched out to but I'm not sure you'd be happy with my setting. Perhaps there will be someone there to help you with that.
Thanks for the reply Jesse! I will try to set the sag and run it soft to start, then progressively stiffen it up to see how it feels. I have some set up articles from Section 8 that I downloaded before they shut down their web site that I can use. Perhaps we will meet at another event this year. Thanks again!
