STT Staff member, Stuart had a crash at Road America June 30th. I understood there was a pretty nasty fracture involved. Has anybody heard how he's doing? Thanks!
I would like to thank everyone for their concerns and thoughts. It's been a reminder of what an awesome family STT is. I'm doing really well, off the crutches and planning to be at Putnam this weekend.
apparently his steel balls were not affected by the high side .. back at it less than a week off crutches
That is great to hear! Although I don't know Stuart personally, I've seen him every time I've been to RA the last 4 years, and riding by him while he was laying in the middle of the track in Kettle Bottoms was pretty scary because I knew that couldn't have been a light crash!
The Jedi lives. He is healing much better than anyone would,have a right to expect. Moving about much at all just takes a lot of wind out of your sails when you are healing no matter who you are, but he is moving about and getting out on the track. He is one tough hombre. I wanna be Stuart when I grow up.
