My left spool is broken off.

Looks like these might be a good replacement.
IF they do want I think they do.

Has anyone picked up a set, report on how they work and better yet any pictures in use.

The site doesn't do much in the way of description.

Best to have it welded on. Second choice, is lightech.

    Lightech????

Didn't want to have the same thing that broke off welded back on.
Also the right one is original, who knows when it will go.
Prefer to figure out something else.

you will need to have the spool mount welded back on to use these ( if you don't want to do that, lighttech adjusters with gp lifters is your next best bet http://www.lightechuk.com/lightech-kawasaki-zx6r-07-12-swingarm-lifter-kit-11790-p.asp)

    a few pics off my 07 zx6r

A bolt goes thru big hole to the spool mount from the inside and from the hole you drill thru the swingarm to the lifter from the outside

you have to drill a hole in your swingarm to mount them ( they were removed to make a repair in this photo )

i have also tried this style but they are no good for tire swaps

you also need a compatable rearstand

    or adapters

I have an old racebike that someone welded forks to so they could use spools on the stand, which effectively makes it like the Attack solution. I am NOT a fan. The forks are positioned so that you cannot see the spools behind the axle of the wheel making it very tricky to see when they are engaged.

IMHO the benefit of traditional spools is that they are positioned laterally outside the swingarm, letting you see engagement to the stand. Yes, they are somewhat vulnerable, but every solution has compromises.

I love my attack lifters, been running them for a few years. Also running a captive brake caliper bracket and captive spacers. Rear wheel changes only takes a few seconds
