You are in trouble - you passed closer than 6 feet!!!! :lmao: Ok... just kidding. At our upcoming Barber event, we will be having an impromptu "Pro School", lead by Felix Kay on Saturday and Marc Perrone on Sunday. Along with Felix and Marc, there will be a few instructors with them to work ONE ON ONE with you guys - for a session, part of a day, or all of a day. What's the curriculum? YOU guys decide.... there will be some short classes and discussions about what to work on, and then you can go do it on track. This is a tremendous opportunity to receive personalized coaching from some of our best coaches. There is no additional cost for this... if you are interested you can meet with Felix and the intermediate coaches after the rider's meeting on either Saturday or Sunday. t
Is this the "Pro School" recognized by Wera to obtain the provisional license? (I assume not, but just checking....)
Hey Sherry, It's not... and it's my bad for calling it a Pro School... I should have said Pro School Lite.... To do the WERA provisional licensing I have to make sure my instructors are WERA licenced and that we follow the curriculum that they want us to.
I'm in. Can't wait. I'll be sure and ask Perrone how to properly "pin it". Just kidding. This is awesome, STT continues to offer great value.
I need work on corners' 1-14...or do they now say 17 turns I dunno...we still use 14 as a reference....actually there are multiple lines there being 45' wide...love that track..
Yup..Perrone's gonna give me some tips on how to through T-2 and I'll give a talk on the Coaster...:rawk:
Awesome, I know I could probably use some good pointers. What's the chances of getting an instructor to ride bitch and give real time instructions?
Saw Felix at WERA TGP last weekend (sorry for not talking longer but I had to visit the Canadians and hit the head, not in that order. Felix) and Marc used to race I believe and needs a TLR for Vintage.
What are you waiting for:boink:?? You already know most of the southern tracks better than most of the racers.
Damn what a great deal/opportunity! Anyone not taking advantage of this is a weenie. I have had the chance to ride with Marc a bunch over the last couple of years (not as much as I would like; I really like the sound of our gsx-r1000 harmonics when riding close), and I always learn a thing or two about my riding. I learned that Marc is good at dodging flying bikes - so he must be good at dodge ball. I also learned how not to take turn 5 at Barber- thanks for leaving the inside line wide open Marc! Honestly, the STT staff is really good and I learn something every time I ask for help.
