I want to mount my Bank Angle Sensor to the front fairing stay instead of the headlight so that I can swap between street and track fairings. If I just mount it directly to the stay it will be tipped forward at a 30* angle but level relative to side tipping. Is this an issue or should I make a bracket to keep the whole BAS level?

Also, if I rotate it around so that the wires come out the front instead of the back (but still right side up) is that fine? I am pretty sure it is, just double checking.

I'd post a picture but the site keeps crashing on my phone when trying.

    Make a bracket.

    Rotating it backwards won't matter.

Make a bracket and match the original orientation.

I had pretty much planned on making the bracket to fix the angle. I am surprised on the comment about spinning it around so the bracket doesn't need to worry about clearing the wires matters.

The front to rear orientation on theses sensors does not matter. You'll definitely want to limit yourself to either matching the original orientation or flipping it 180 degrees backwards so that right becomes left. Keep the same UP orientation.

That's what I was meaning. Tom's comment was a little clearer than mine. My apologies for the vagueness.
