More twins the better!! This thing sold out, I know there are more than the above going to be there. Who's traveling the farthest to get there? I'll start it off - 15 miles!
Bringing new CBR to Sept Barber gonna ride it Sat ,Not sure if I'm gonna bring it in Oct but probable will. The old F4 still runs fine
Ha - you suck!!! From Milwaukee it's 765 miles. There's going to be a pretty large bunch from Milwaukee down there for this one - really looking forward to it. t
FINALLY..I get to do a fun track day event this year..you betcha....commin' down with Trev and the Yankee caravan.Looking forward to seeing everyone.
We are going to have a blast. Look forward to seeing "y'all" in October. If you makes you feel any better I have to go through three traffic lights to get there.
Boy,I sure fell sorry for you having to go all that way.The good news is the hotels are booked so we can all stay at your house...thanks dude!! Trev snores,I have bad gas at night(so much I got the Arabs followin me around) Joe talks in his sleep,Jimmy walks in his sleep,Stefano gets up at 5 a.m. and paces and makes all kinds of noise and wakes everyone up.No problem...see you guys down there for some great riding!!
Between two dogs, a teenage, the wife and me.... be just like any other night at the house. I'M STAYING AT THE TRACK!
Ha!! Nice...see you there,we usually are pitted at the track exit...look us up for a beer, look for blue and white GSX-R #461.
I'll be sure to look you up and bring cold beer, or two. I usually setup on the top level. Silver sv650 #31 See you there.
Arrgh!!! Barber is still a month away. I'm itching to get down there!! Everything is ready...just waiting for the days to pass by.
I'm coming down from just north of Chicago, yahoo says 703 miles. I plan to sleep in my trailer at the track. My 4Runner and trailer are both dark blue metallic, so I'm pretty easy to spot. EDIT: I'm staying in a hotel now, so I might not bring the trailer (due to crappy gas mileage). I may carry the bike on my versahauler and save a ton of gas money. I'm riding both days in 'I' on a 2007 SV650S, blue tank and fender, all the rest unpainted sharkskinz covered with all my "sponsor" decals. I can't wait!
Still counting down the days. I just completed the Ed Bargy Racing School, and I'm ready to practice some of Ed's teachings. I'm hoping I can get hooked up with a control rider who can follow me around and tell me what I'm doing and what I need to work on. I have an idea of what I SHOULD be doing, but that's often a lot different than what I AM doing.
anyone going from near Charlotte? Be great to rideshare and save the gas, if we can figure out the details. Happy to drive my truck...
Yup me and the Ugly Pig will be there , gotta do that back to back comparo between Barber and MO  Last one of the year though for me , sb fun About 8 hours , so any recommendation on hotels they are wanting 150 a night @ the HI Express  However Americas Value Inn is 59/nite ( Business rate ) , already booked
I did the one day Bargy class. I picked up quite a lot from in, most of all, learning how to "feel" what the bike is doing. Ed is one of those people like me. He likes to know WHY he should do something. He's very logical. I'm the same way. I like to know how things work, and why you are supposed to do different things. He did a good job of explaining the physics of how a motorcycle works.
Stay at the Track... In the Pits... Weather should be perfect... No bugs, heat ect.... Have Airmatress, sleeping bag and EZ Up will travel! Oh and take the $200 your gonna save and eat like a King!! I plan on doing a Low Country Boil so Bring down some Crab Legs to throw in the PoT!!
Kewl didint know you could stay at the track ya gotta sleep in your vehicle or somethin, cant a tent be pitched ? ( please no snide comments  ) Edit : NM yes you can have a tent there , just not in the pits , but on the hill behind them SO kewl I just saved myself some dollars , MORE BEER
