Just a little video from Saturday at Barber. We ran Intermediate and notice the open track in a "Sold Out" event. STT rocks. The video is shot by a friend of mine on his ZRX1200 and I'm on the GSXR750 trying to stay in front of him. How are our lines?? This is my second year riding with STT and I think you guys do a GREAT job. This was our last run together on Saturday as one of our buddies went down and Scott, the camera man here, had to get him at UAB, he's ok just a couple of broken ribs and a long ride home to Florida, he's also coming back in October for STT Barber. I ran the Motard the rest of the weekend, thanks to Lois, Bonnie, and the instructors for letting me switch and getting me tech'd for the last session on Saturday and all day on Sunday. I hated you for that motard. We were sitting down on the other end of the paddock when you fired it up. My friend said "What the hell was that?" I replied "A thumper" :twisted: You looked like you were having a good time on it in the rain. I think I may look into getting one at some point in the future.
I was riding the intermediate group on saturday. Your friend on the ZRX1200 was riding good. Also on the last session I was one of the bikes getting in your way in the corners. I would pass on the straights and then you would come by in the corners. I hope I didn't get in your way too bad.
jbrew44: No one was in my way, don't even think that. That's the beauty of riding with STT, you can pass inside or out as long as we all keep it safe and obey the 6' rule. I know sometimes it shrinks a little but as long as we hold our lines and stay predictable it's FUN. I normally don't even ride the Motard on big tracks but everyone was coming by and asking if I was gonna ride it so I did the last session on Saturday and had a blast. I knew no one would run over me in the straights so I just pinned it and went. I can't wait to ride it this weekend at Tally, probably won't even take the GIXXER.
