Thanks Mark and Lois and all the Staff for a great event ! It was a very productive day and I don't think too many crashes ... From what I saw at the track the new Photo guy (Brian Garrett ) takes great pics and knows where to snap the shot !! Looking forward to buying a few pics of me on the new R6 that make me look somewhat fast
I second your opinions of the Barber weekend. My brother and a buddy from Pittsburgh made the 11 hour drive from the Ohio Valley and had an absolute blast. The only downer was the overly aggressive (and over his head) rider who took out my brother and a second rider in Charlotte's Web. There will be a great photo of the offender posted in the photos! Anyway, Mark and Lois ran a great track day and we will have some great memories. (I am sure our lap times will improve as we tell our stories to our friends! :wink We also spent Friday afternoon in the museum. They have the best looking "Christmas tree" that I have ever seen!
No! The crash I am was thinking of was a three bike pile-up. The first bike just ran into the second rider, pinching his leg between the bikes. The second bike was forced wide and pushing my brother off the track. We got the damage repaired with duct tape along with some parts and tools from that great motorcycle repair shop---HOME DEPOT. Hey, looking at that picture....it that a crash or just a poor choice of locations to take a nap???? :wink:
I looked at the photos. That was the beginning of the crash. All I had seen was the photo of the rider hanging in the air. (The photos are on page 33 of the Advanced Saturday group) My brother was on the red Superhawk not yet in the photo. He lost two and a half sessions on Saturday but we got his bike fixed and re-teched on Sunday. Charlotte's Web caught a lot of flies in the two days we were there!
+1 another great day.. I didnt crash and stayed on the track (most of the day anyway)...LOL....+ bettered my best time by 2 seconds....thanks again.....
