Geoff May called and he and the National Guard Team will be riding with us again this Sat at Barber......Might I suggest that NOBODY here try to hang with him.....
That's right...they're just up the road from me,I just kindly asked him to stay out of my way......he said if I show him a wheel he'll move over for me...I said thanks.
Great my first day in "A" with y'all and you bring pros  Just kidding it will be fun to watch for the microsecond I can hang with them... well keep them in sight At least me and the RC will have a weight advantage
Big B, I bet your mad you traded your A for I now,. You could have had the unique opportunity to be passed by one of the best.......
There are plenty of riders down there I won't try to keep up with let alone May!! First sign of ridring over our head is we're not having fun!! The good Lord bessed my with a good internal gyroscope and some good coaches.Once Chaz Davies was down there and stuffed me in 5,so I tried to keep up with him, rode like my hair was on fire and was on the verge of crashing,,,,SO...good time to make a few points on that.Mark Sheldon does a great jo of covering all this in his meetings. It seems Barber in march and October are special in that many of us are "pumped" to say the least.Lets watch out and remember signs of this so we can all have an enjoyable weekend. There will be some very fasy/gifted riders there. 4 reasons for crashing 1)Rushing corner entry (can't get to apex...what's next!!) 2)Abrubt hands 3)Loss or lack of consentration 4)repeating a mistake
SV Spankathon! I will be there with my custom, superduper, SV 650 race bike! All you better be listening for that mighty 70 hp V-twin roar coming up fast to your rear! May..I take no prisoners!
I spent four days at Jennings last January, with May, Taylor knapp, PJ jacobsen and a bunch of other fast guys. I didn't ride again until just last month. Coincidence?
my perspective on Sat.: whaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh.... sigh ... there goes Geoff.... vrrrrrrrrrroooom...... sigh (again) ... there goes Sheldon....  whaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh triple sigh ... there goes Johnny....   t
Mark, just let Geoff know I will be glad to show him around if he wants 8) LOL. Maybe he will suck my paint off enough that I can re-paint my bike. It needs it LOL
So the question is do I go out right in the very front or at the very back??? I guess it's be traffic or be IN traffic.
Exactly. I'd like to think that although I'm not the fastest (who is?) that I'm a polite passer and a nice, predictable passee..... t
