Does anyone have info on the Beaver Run weekend for Sat and Sun? I didn't get any info.? I did for Mid-Ohio but nothing for this one. What time does the gate open? Regist. times? Lunch or bring your own? I had a blast at Mid-Ohio in April and looking foward to 2 more days next weekend. I've never been to the Beav.

Gates usually open around 6:30-7 am. you can drop your bikes off the night before, if you like. Registration & Tech is open from 7:00 til the riders begins, around 8:30. Lunch will be provided, Beaver Run has pretty good food in their trackside trailer, and serve breakfast sandwiches as well. There will most likely be tire service (i've never been to an STT event where there wasn't) but I'm not certain whether Sportbike Track Gear will be there or not. Jason Etter, from Department of Suspension will be there providing suspension set-up service.
    Have Fun!

I'm smokin. I'll start making the bbq sauce tonight; beans, tomorrow. I've got 32#s of pork, and a leg of lamb, which will start marinading wednesday, and then the rub gets applied thursday. At about 5:00, saturday am, the fire gets started and the smoking begins.

How many miles on that R1 now Bill? Thanks for the great instruction on Sat 4/28 at Mid-Ohio. The lines you showed me made all the difference!! (Black, silver, red 600RR #71)

I'm running novice Sat, and intermediate on Sun at Beaver. Then intermediate both days back at Mid-Ohio July 2-3.

I'll be at Beaver Sun/Mon, then I am going to RA to see how fast it will go.

There is now 800 miles on the bike :D

i remember you, if you need anything let me know. Beaver is much easier as far as line choice, but will be interesting how brave I can be off the backstraight. Never rode anything but a 600 there

Nothing better than going WFO through the kink on the back straight... I can't wait! hopefully they've done something about the bumps in the off season.

Yeah but the trick is to be wide open through both kinks on the backstraight. Most people let off, wheather they admitt it or not. THIS IS ON A 600 ANYWAYS, NOT ME TELLING PEOPLE THEY HAVE TO DO THIS. Had to add that, told a guy a speed I saw in a corner once and just guess what he tried :? :?

yeah, I hear you- for the record, I was referring to the 2nd kink. I love that sensation, banging it up to 5th just before the kink then seeing just how long i can hold it open before grabbing a handfull and bang the gears down to 2nd for the keyhole. not saying that's how it has to be done, but that's the way, uh-huh, I like it.

Just becareful of the not so brave types that at the last second decide their nuts aren't as big as they thought and all of the sudden grab a hand full of brake and kill the throttle coming out wide on ya. I've always try to hug as close to the inside as i can when someones in front of me that way I don't end up spending some unscheduled SuperMoto time on the R6 thanks to Mr. Indecisive.

Be sure to bring a cot or very thick air mattress. The paddock area is very rocky.
