I am doing beaverun sat&sun with stt, then vir north monday with tpm.. anyone doing the same? I am looking to catch a ride with someone.. ill buy my own trailer if i need to, but that drive alone is going to suckkk
Good luck I did the same thing a few years ago but I started from Ponoco then drove down to VIR for a Monday track day, I had help we got to VIR by 2am.
I did similarly, Easter weekend, except I drove from Barber, alone, all night. I made it to VIR around 4 am. slept in my truck for a couple hours (well, not really, but I tried) had breakfast with some friends and made it to the riders meeting. After the first session following the lunch break was over, I was thoroughly spent. I remember rolling into our pit area and sat on my bike for about 5-10 minutes staring into space. Needless to say, I packed up shortly afterwards. Still, VIR South is a super track and it was amazing to sample the best of both the new South and the old South, back to back, on the same weekend. Damn girl, with the amount of trackdays you've been doing, it sounds like you do need to get your own trailer. Have you seen my rig? It's a $250 trailer pulled behind a Neon. Carpooling's always nicer, but not always feasable.
yeah i got a new car finally so i can pull it.. im prob using a friends trailer until i get my own .. for that weekend at least.. unless i get a spot at Road Atlanta then i can just go with Drew...
