    Hi,
    or I mean help..
I'm installing sharkskinz body work on a 1000rr to race in css blackhawk farms, but the belly pan won't fit over stock exhaust, aftermarket exhaust is on backorder. Can I get an exception for first race??, or does anyone have ideas on how to jury-rig something. Can't figure out how I would add a turkey pan. e.g. with Safety wire, or Tie strips? Or someone said maybe installing some roofing flashing and bending it up?

Post up some pics if you can. If we have something to look at we might be able to help you out.
I highly doubt CCS will give you an exception to run without a belly pan.

People have raced with improvised belly-pans before. CCS also warned them they'd be fined if they oil up the track.

Use good judgement and try to make something secure and also keep it away from the exhaust pipe so it won't catch on fire.

    Hi,
thx for the advise !!!.. Went with the Turkey pan in the stock body works.. Seemed pretty good, now just safety wire it up.. -- CCS Said they might make an exempt if I have receipt for exhaust, on back-order.. but doing this as well.
-- have some images.. just need to figure out how to post..

I don't see how that is going to hold anything??? I cannot see that passing tech. Sorry but a belly pan is for your safety and everyone others and just showing a reciept is going to help anyone if you have a engine failure or oil leak.

I agree. I would not take the chance on showing up to race and getting denied for that. Send that pic to CCS and see what they say
