Thanks to everyone who made my first track experience an excellent event. It was a bit intimidating being a lone gal first time out and all. The staff/instructors were always helpful and the other riders were always available for assistance and insightful tips. Special shout out to the guys at Shadow Video for having me in their pits the first day and for keeping me clued in on what was going on---you fellas rock. Can not wait to do it again. :D

    It was good meeting you too. A.G. = (Na + K)-(Cl + [HCO3])

Thanks to Mike, and all the other instructors (sorry I don't remember your names) in novice group. They really took the time to show us the ropes. I learned alot, and I'll see you guys again at the end of the month.

I am glad you had fun while learning, it makes our coaching worth doing. It is always good to get some feedback after an event, it let's us know how we are doing. From what I saw everyone in the novice group really improved their riding despite the weather conditions. I am sure the student to instructor ratio was a big reason. With only a couple of students per instructor we are able to monitor each student more.

We try to make all of our first timers comfortable. Trust me, everyone is nervous before their first trackday regardless of gender. We have found that females tend to be some of our best students because:

They come to learn (instead of thinking they know everything)

They listen to what is being taught (contrary to what husbands or boyfriends say)

They practice the drills (instead of showing us how fast they can go while practicing nothing)

They control their bike by technique (as opposed to body strength)

I am not saying the guy students are bad, just that a higher percentage of the females are the better ones.

I snapped off an oil drain plug bolt before going, and my truck was still not working or else I would of been there. Then driving out to BlackHawk farms I found out the school I was attending was cancelled due to the snow. Really sucked, but Oh well. Either way my big track week never unfolded and I'm still itching to be out there. I think it's cool you got to go. I'm sure you really enjoyed it even though it was cold. Warning though. You may become addicted!!!! I'm truly glad you enjoyed yourself and that you had fun.....That is all. :D :D 8)
