Under the bike prep section I didn't see anything about:

1.) Safety wire...oil drain plug, oil filler plug, oil filter?

    2.) Tape Speedo?

    3.) Remove peg feelers?

Do these need to happen to pass inspection? Did I miss something under the bike prep section?

Those things are not required. Safety wire is a good idea though, so if you know how to do it, go ahead and do it, but if not they won't fail you. Taping the speedo is a personal preference thing, same with peg feelers. Some people like having them there, it's pretty much a safety feature to warn you that you are about to hit a peg, so why not leave em on?

Taping the speedo was so you didn't take your eyes off the track. Your not all about how fast your going vs where your going.

Removing the peg feelers won't gouge the track. I've heard some tracks don't like it. My boot usually hits before the feeler anyway....gotta keep that crap tucked in :D

Safety wiring your oil cap, drain, & filter isn't required, but it's always a good idea. We've had a couple plug & filter issues in the past. I'm sure those involved use safety wire now, not to mention anyone that was right behind them when it happened.

The first time a feeler peg catches in a hole in the pavement, you'll take them off. I know I did. Then I changed my windshield & underwear.

Good point, I never even thought about that. I've always had solid pegs...
