I finally have, for me, a nice solid feel from my brake lever. I have upgraded my front lines to SS lines and have the Brembo master cylinder on my 06' 636. However, I seem to be boiling the brake fluid during track days and can notice it in the amount I need to pull the lever to get to a given braking force. I also bleed my brakes at the end or beginning of a track day and can see bubbles come out at the master cylinder and calipers after a hard day at the track. (All of the above was particularly evident with my first experience last weekend at Road America.) I currenlty use Valvoline Synthetic brake fluid which seems to have a good rep among some STT folk, but wonder if others have had different experiences with different brake fluids that may not boil quite so quickly? I also have noted that some brake pads have perforated backing plates that may help limit heat transfer to the caliper/fluid.

I guess my question has to do with is there a better brake fluid and how much does the type of pad or backing plate have in transfering heat to the brake fluid?

    Thanks,
    Adam O.

I have a brembo master on my ZX10R. I had to keep pinching/pumping the little hose to get all the air out of it. Took me about 20 minutes. What kind of fluid are you using? I havent had any issues with needing to bleed them after i installed the Brembo.
