I loaned sombody a complete, shifter-side footrest assembly for a GSXR at Autobahn this weekend, and never got it back. If you're the guy I loaned it to or he happens to be one of your buddies, I'd sure like the parts back. Otherwise, how can I fix my bike if I wreck it, or have those spares available to loan to the next guy?

Yeah, I've loaned out a lot of stuff, and always got it back. I've borrowed a lot of stuff too, and once or twice have missed giving it back before the guy left. I've always tracked them down, though.

The guy didn't miss me, because I was the last one to leave. But he might have forgotten.

OK, I was thinking about this, and decided to check my spares box. There were the parts that I'd loaned out! Apparently the guy brought them back Saturday night when I wasn't around, and put them right back where he'd seen me get them from. That would also explain the beer money I found folded up inside my glove Sunday morning that no one knew anything about!
