Quote from "HIGHSIDE!" The back "straight"was an endless right-hand sweeper that just naturally had to have a crest halfway around that sent Dan's bike sliding toward the outside edge of the pavement! A glance to the left showed that the ground there fell sharply away from the track's edge to a rusty, dented old gaurdrail that seemed to be holding back a rather hungry-looking grove of trees. Quote from a Rush song: There is unrest in the forest, there is trouble with the trees for the Maples want more sunlight and the Oaks ignore their pleas. My own comment upon this particular occasion: "You know you're having a bad day when the corner workers need a front-end loader to retrieve your bike...."
Speaking of wrecks..... Did anyone see the Yamaha that crashed in the advanced group at Mid-Ohio on Sunday ??That thing looked like it got loaded too. The guy was fine though...(Good thing.)
