Also, when will the gates be open? what facilities are available (bathrooms, showers, electricity, etc.)? what's the paddock like (paved, sand, grass)?
I contacted Roebling Rd and here is the response: Gates will open between 5 to 5:30 on Friday and close after 9:00. Our paddock is grass and showers are always available. On the Roebling web site they say there are power outlets at the paddock.
Will the gates be closed or open on Saturday night? I'm planning to be out for a while after riding and I want to make sure I can get back in.
Gates will be open to riders from 6-9pm Friday night for camping and/or trailer drop offs. Gates are locked at 9:00pm so you are either in our out at that point, you cannot come and go like at Barber. Gates will open Sat from 7:00am till 9:00pm with the same rules. It costs $5.00 per person, per night to camp. (Track fee like at Barber, not ours) And pit bikes are NOT allowed to even be unloaded at Roebling! (Some clown has a major crash in the pits last year on a pit bike injuring a spectator)
Looking forward to this weekend.... I will be there Friday PM to Sunday PM camping at the track.. I will be Coaching as well so if anyone needs help that night with Bike Prep, Set up Pits ect just ask.. .. I will have the SXV 550 and 2 Blue EZ Ups.. Marc
I'm pretty much on the same schedule Marc. I'll try to pit near you. I'll have a friend with me, but we're bringing his V-strom 650 and he's going to go tour a bit during the days.
I contacted Roebling and the paddock area for bikes is all grass no concrete. You can camp/pit/park all in the same area , sort like Jennings w/o concrete pads. On the web site they state that there are power outlets .
from the google satalite image RR looks like lots of concrete roads in and around the pits. http://www.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl&q=
so are the majority of people camping or staying in hotels? it will probably be pretty chilly so we will end up staying in a hotel maybe get something near river st
Hotel??? Theres no party there!!!! Should be a low of 45 or so at night.. Nothing a good sleeping back cant handle... Perfect weather in my opinion... I will be camping both nights...
i love staying at the track, but it generally will be cold this time of year.... if its going to be cold i will def stay in the hotel and get a goods night sleep. if its going to be warmer then i will be happy to sleep in the trailer with a small heater plugged in of course.
 RRR has lots of paddock roads/sortta. A blend or mixture of rubber products like what you see at the play grounds....Only old. Not bad at all  Lots of good viewing areas near 3,4 and 5  There is a on site manager/couple who make sure all is well. Bathrooms are a tad spartan but serve the need :? . Bring in your munchies or send someone on errands as needed. Road crossings at the tower(start finish) so if you don't have to get anything you forgot, you won't have to waite between a session. Power available in the tree lines as well as up front near the Tech building. Should have no problem there. Also pit in is fully paved up to and around the tech building so debris is at a minimum, a small brush is all ya need before you throw back on the warmers  If you have never been there before,.....Your gonna love this place   Mark  www.gpcustoms.com
I'm really looking forward to it too. This will be my first ride at Roebling. It looks like a fun track, although I wish it ran counter-clockwise (I love cornering left!) Now let's hope the weather cooperates!
