Until i sale my bike im going to do some track days. With that being said, i want to ask a couple questions.

First of, i have been riding for a long time and ride what i feel is fairly aggresive and can hold my own. I was born and raised around deals gap and the beautiful country side of tennessee. With that being said, YES i WILL start of in novice lol. Id rather be fast and be bumped up instead of a danger to everyone else and be moved down.

    Question

#1. Im wanting to do Nashville Superspeedway. Is that a good track to start out on or not?

#2. I will be in novice with stock gearing will that be suffecient?

#3. Is Nashville sold out? I want to do both days.

I want to make the best of my time, and have fun and be safe to myself and EVERYONE else, and i can take critisism with the best of them. So im looking forward to being yelled at or told how wrong i am in certain things.. and im sure i am lol..

I will pay for both days tommorrow (wensday) and my membership (go ahead flame on lol). Im in knoxville and this would be a GREAT weekend getaway for me.

I can camp at the track i suppose, and if i do are there showers there>? Or any hotels around?

Thats it for now, im fixing to read the rules and regulations for the bike to make sure i pass tech with flying colors..

If i think of anything else ill post and thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the Nashville track but I'd leave the gearing as is. After the trackday you may want to think about it more but initially, learning the track and the whole trackday game will be sensory overload as it is.

    Drop,
You also may want to take a look at the manual rules and regulations, knowing the basics will contribute to the good time you're about to have...8)

Welcome to a great hobby !!!

Nashville is a great track to test out your skills, It takes some geting used to, but its alot of fun.

Your stock gearing will be fine there.. you're not racing so there's nothing to lose, so there's nothing to worry about :). I've been running stock gearing on all of the track we go to now for 3 years.. (changing as we speak, but it was something I wanted to do, not something I had to do)

I far as I know its not sold out yet , Look at the track day store on the maie site and if the option to buy is there, then its still good.

You can camp at NSS, but there is no shower (unless someone builds one out of a ez-up and garden hose ...Burrrr)

Closest hotel is about 15 minutes or so away in Lebanon (i think).

Hope this helps ya !!! Looking forward to seeing ya there !!
