I know this kind of a wierd question, But does anyone wear a cup on the track?

We all wear lots of gear, backprotectors, gloves, boot, etc.. I'm going to invest in a chest protector this year as well.

But what about our most delicate area, does anyone wear anything to protect the boys??

I thought about it last year at the track when I was doing a two up, with my girlfriend, when I grabbed a handful of brakes, she slid right into me, cramming my boys between me and the tank... Not a comfortable feeling...

    Any suggentions?
    :hat:

From someone that has worn a cup for many years playing sports; wearing a cup on the moto would be extremely uncomfortable.

Grip the tank with your legs more

Honestly, though, I can see where you're coming from with this question. Actually, no, I can't see it at all thank god!:lmao:

    I keed! I keed!

Yeah, grab some Stomp Grip or Tech Spec for your tank for starters.

    solution

I leave mine on the dashboard of my car, which might explain my lap times.

More importantly, don't do this ^^...

Grabbing the brakes can cause a lightly-loaded front tire to skid, usually resulting in low side.

What you wanna do is squeeze the front brake lever progressively (over time) and firmly. The progressive squeezing will allow the weight to both begin transferring forward and CONTINUE transferring forward. As you apply more braking pressure progressively, more weight arrives smoothly on the front tire and widens the contact-patch, which in turn, creates more and more traction and supports greater braking and deceleration force.

So, the more you squeeze, smoothly and progressively on the lever, the more you are able to apply greater and greater braking-pressure.

Couldn't help it. That was one of the pics that came up while searching for Marc's ear muffs.
    I blame him.
