the Cycle World International Motorcycle Show is fast approaching, on Dec 28-30 at the Javits center in NYC -only 6 weeks away! I'm excited to see all of the new models
    Who's going & when?
I'm hoping to hit it on Friday, when the crowds will hopefully be a bit thinner; but I may end up doing Saturday instead.
    Post up, peeps!

I'll be there on Sunday. We go on a bus trip run by a local dealer. I always enjoy the show.

I ended up going on sunday and had a good time seeing old and new friends. I liked seeing casy stoner Motogp bike there, the bike looked like it was ridden hard and put away wet. :D Yamaha had there M1 there it looked like a show pice. I was a little confused about the lay out KTM was put in a seperate room and i almost missed them. did any one see the new CBR1000RR Wow that bike is totaly new and looks fast on the carpet. From what i saw i think the 1098r would be my frist chose if I had $40k :D

I asked one of the Duc reps why the only items safety wired were the hand grips and his response was "what's safety wired mean?".... I asked another Duc Rep who chuckled and responded something to the effect that "not many people will even notice".

The bike did look well used in certain areas but a few parts looked straight out of the box...

I liked the 848 but the KTM motards really piqued my interest more than anything.

my point is the Ducati is a small company and the other motogp bike is a show pice. The bike is a pice of artwork down that rusty chain and cluch cover
