Same thing happened to me at Pocono East, going through the double apex left hander. as I was about to overtake him, I saw sparks and thought "oh shit! this guys going to bin it" so I changed my line, only to realize that it was his knee pucks. pissed me off, but then Pocono is squid central; the riders there make Autobahn CC's Czech mafia look reasonable, sane and courteous.

if it wasn't under 90 minutes from my house, I would'nt go there at all, but since the next closest tracks are all around five hours from Philly, it kinda leaves me with no choice. a repave would be nice, but opening Thunderbolt would be even better!!! any word on the progress there? I hear conflicting rumors that it's going or that it's not happening... their website hasn't beeen updated for about a year- that doesn't make things look too promising. http://njmotorsportspark.com/index.html

    Two good points above:

    a) Sparking knee sliders are squidly and stupid for the track - oh yes, you will see them at Pocono

    b) Pocono sucks - it's always an adventure each Spring to see what new pot holes & ripples appear in the pavement from the Winter weather...
