depends on the track the temp and what class or how hard your pushing it and if your running tire warmers if you dont have warmers your tires will cold shred... decreasing there life span

I have warmers so no worries there. Won't be pushing hard being newish to the trackdays. Will one set last me the day of sessions or should I bring lots of spares.

Ok I will bring spares anyways and do you think the michelin people would mount a set of dunlops for me at the track or will there be a separate vendor there that could do it. I have a set of michelin power 2ct also should I bring those if I need spares.

ha ha ha no i think they will help you out... everyone is pretty nice on these trackdays people seem to be very helpfull i would say going from med soft compound tires to harder compound 2cts would give you some false hopes if anything start with the michelins then go to the dunlops

I have a set of Qualifiers on my bike now which are about to be replaced with a set of 2cts. I bought them when I did CSS at Mid-Ohio and ran with them all day there, then a little less than half day at Putnam, a full day at Autobahn North, and another full day at Putnam. All that and quite a bit of street riding. They're still good for street riding but I don't think I'd do any more time on them on the track. The last session at Putnam last year I felt the front tire slip a little bit and decided to call it a day before I wiped out. :)

Anything less then that something is wrong, on average people get 4-6 days out of a rear tire.

The only ones that wear overly fast are soft compounds

I don't flip mine, and your weight won't make a difference if your suspension is set up properly.

But i think the explanation is in the phrase "i rail my bike" when you aren't smooth with the throttle and just crack on it is why your going through tires so fast.

    Getting back to stock clicks

I bought a used ZX7R and was looking at the suspension yesterday and tried to adjust the clicks but they were all the way to the left how would I find the stock setting for this bike so I can have a good place to start. If any one from Mississippi can come set this up for my weight I would be indebted to you. Thanks.

I weighed about 180 or slightly more when I was doing the days on these tires. My suspension has not been setup so I imagine that has made the tires wear a little faster. On the other hand I'm just a fast novice rider so I'm definitely not wearing them as fast as an advanced rider. The tires are showing significant bluing now and like I said I felt a little slide last October at Putnam. I could maybe squeeze another day out of them but I just wouldn't trust them so it's time for them to go.

I weigh a little more than 135 and I eat as much as a herd of cattle but wont gain weight. I guess I am like a sport bike jocky. I cant figure out the setup for this suspension on my new ZX7R I hit a bump and it wants to bounce me right off and im light so I bounce pretty high. I was recently hit by a car in Hattiesburg, MS right after having the oil changed and new rubber slapped on ( Ironic aint it ). So the bumps give my freshly healed femur a time. If anyone can tell me why this is doing this I would love to get it tuned. Also no laughing at me at the track with my limp I can't help it.

I can usually get 2-3 days out of my Qualifiers running in Intermediate, however it depends on the track. Mid-Ohio is not as demanding on tires as Gingerman. (In my opinion)

After rereading this I realized I missed answering your question of what bike I am on. I ride an 06 GSXR 600.
