EDIT: Ooops my bad, he's got the categories up, but not the actual pics, sorry for getting a little excited & firing off a warning shot
They were there last night & now they have been removed... I've been watching for them to come back though & when they do I will repost the link.
I had initially asked Mark if you could help me and my brother on Sat, but did not follow up, as you were in Novice again. It was my first trip there, I got to doing 1.08's consistantly, with 1.07.6 as the best. But, I got in the dirt twice, and almost highsided twice. that is one cool track.
Well it sounds to me like you were doing pretty good on your own... Probably just need to slow down a little & evaluate what you are actually encountering out there. The biggest advantage to being in the Novice group (as a student or an instructor) is you get some time in the mornings to learn the nuances of the track at a pace that emphasizes momentum & then builds on body positioning. In the I & A groups you simply cannot do a single gear drill or the like without getting ass packed or at the very least cussed at by other riders who may or may not be proficient, but still want any excuse they can get to bitch about someone in their way TGP has never been a track I have enjoyed riding & I ran around in the advanced group one session clicking off very consistent low 1:08's (1:08.05 - 1:08.33) for several laps in a row. I could have gone faster, but I just stayed where I was comfortable & 100% sure I could make every turn with ease as that track really likes to bite bikes! Having said that I really enjoyed myself this time at that track & am looking forward to riding it again after the redo. The thing with TGP is there is really no room for error. Unlike Barber where you can take a multitude of different lines & get it done TGP only has one real line through it which leaves very little margin & you are constantly at max focus on what is coming at you with zero time to rest anywhere on the track. One small lapse of attention & you will quickly find yourself off the edge of the track with a pucker factor of 8
You need a graphics editor or you can just send me the photo & I will size it & send it back to you lordduckhunter@gmail.com
