It's the Barber "Stay and Play"!!!

Since this event follows the MotoAmerica weekend there are a couple things that are different:

    - our gate time is 5pm Sunday. If you want to get in before 5pm Sunday, you will have to buy a MA ticket.

    - if you are here for the races and staying for this event, Sunday at 5pm you will have to stop by registration (the building with the Porsche out front by the gate) and sign the waiver for our event, and get an STT wristband (sorry about that - it's an insurance thing more than anything). If you want power/camping for Sunday night/Monday, you can also pay for that there as well.

    - if you are attending the races on the weekend, YOU CAN BRING YOUR TRAILER! They will let you park your trailer in the general spectator parking. You can't camp there... just park. If you do want to camp at MotoAmerica, you can purchase camping from them for the, ahem, party zone on the hilltop. Either way, you'll have your stuff there for Sunday evening load in.

    A few particulars:

    - Jefferson County has a mask ordinance - please wear masks when in close proximity to others when you can't maintain 6'. Here's the legal: https://www.jcdh.org/SitePages/Misc/PdfViewer?AdminUploadId=796

    - riders that have pre-registered will have their waivers emailed to them this week, so you can print them out and sign them at home. There is the STT waiver and an additional COVID-19 waiver.

    - if you did not preregister or forgot/can't print your waivers - please bring your own pen to registration.

    - this event is a non-spectator event and limited to the rider, plus limited "crew/guests".

    - the bathrooms will be open with a 50% occupancy limit.

    - concessions will be open and taking cards only for contact-less payment - they will be running reduced hours for the rest of the year - 10am to 2pm.

    - we will either hold a "socially distanced" rider's meeting in the tech area, or it will be conducted over the PA system as you stay in your pit area. We will make announcements to let you know.

    - and, as always - please observe social distancing practices!

IF YOU ARE FEELING SICK - STAY HOME!

Gates open approx 5:00pm Sunday night and stay open til 9:00pm, if you make it in by 9:00pm you can then come 24/7, if you don't make it by 9:00pm gates re-open Monday at 7:00am-5:00pm. Barber is in the Central Time Zone.

There is a $5 per person gate fee for Sportbike Track Time events at Barber

We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for Southern rain showers.

You must walk to the Porsche building and get your wristband before you can get into the paddock. If you need camping or electric, you can pay for that when you get your wristband.

If you arrive early please park where the gate guard directs you to park. No drinking of beer or alcohol allowed in parking area's and no changing bike oil in parking area's.

Please note that Sportbike Track Time is the ONLY organization that Barber allows to "stage" in the museum parking lot (at least once construction is done)... we want to keep it that way!

No glass bottles are allowed in the Barber paddock - bring plastic cups!

Camping is available and you pay the track for that.

Electric is available in the lower pits against the fence and in the upper pits in both sides and you have to pay the track for that.

Thermosman will be staying for suspension service!!!!!

Sign-up opens 7am and closes at 10:30am for the day. Please be on time.

Tech opens 7am and closes 10:30am.

Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras:

    - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle.

    - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track

    - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed.

Mandatory riders meeting 8:20am, Intermediate riders are first on track at 9am.

Sorry to say, pets are NOT allowed at Barber.

Showers are available on the second and third levels.

Race gas and street gas is available on second level, credit cards only.

Please keep your area clean and do not leave any race gas cans or tires when you leave.

We must be out of the paddock by 7:00pm Monday night.

Any questions, please post up here.
