    Here are some helpful track day facts for Blackhawk Farms Raceway

    LOCATION:
    Blackhawk Farms Raceway (BFR)
    15538 Praire Road
    South Beloit, IL 61080

    ***IMPORTANT GATE INFORMATION***
    * BFR location is in CT (Central Time, one hour behind Grand Rapids and Indianapolis).
    * NO GATE FEE FOR ENTERING
    * Spectating is allowed at this event

    ***Registration is being done at the Registration building BEFORE you enter the gates (building on right).

    GATE OPENS @ 6PM ON FRIDAY 9/10. If you arrive early, please move to the right side of the road.

    REGISTRATION HOURS:

    *Friday 6PM -9PM
    *Saturday 7AM to 8:00AM and 5PM to 6:30PM (You can always tech after the rider's meeting)
    *Sunday 7AM to 8:00AM (You can always tech after the rider's meeting)
    **You can come and go 24 hours / any time you wish as long as you are checked in at the gate.
    ****Registration closes for the riders meeting which is a mandatory attendance to ride.

    If you arrive after registration hours, you will be allowed to enter through the gates, but you will have to go back to the registration building during registration hours to sign your on-track waiver and to receive your group sticker to ride on your scheduled day.

    If you arrive after registration hours ON THE DAY you are scheduled to ride, you will be allowed to enter through the gates, but you WILL NOT receive your group sticker and you WILL NOT be able to ride.
    Please be on time.

    **After you register, you will be handed a group sticker to place on the front of your bike. Please do not place it on the tire fender, then head over to the tech area for inspection. Tech Inspection will be held at the Tech shed.

    • Tech inspection will be held over at the tech shed. Please be sure to register first before heading over to the tech inspection area.
    • All Gopros (or similar cameras) that is mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be tethered and secure.
    • NO helmet mounted Gopros (or similar helmet mounted cameras) Unfortunately, they are NOT ALLOWED at all on track
    • NO Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) or DRONES of any type allowed at this event.
    **** Please do not park in front of or set up in the Pavilion****

    Helpful facts for BFR:

    • Camping is available for the weekend
    • Campfires are allowed, (don't forget the bug spray)
    • Showers are available
    • Race/Pump gas is available credit/debit only.
    • Concession stand open for breakfast and lunch
    • Evening track walks allowed (cold track only)
    • Limited electricity available. Bring your generator
    • You can listen to the public address (PA) paddock announcements by tuning a radio to 88.9 FM
    • Pets are allowed and MUST be on a leash at all times. Please "clean up" after your pets
    • Joe from Turn One Racing will be available for suspension service. Call 815-519-6267 to make an appointment early.

    • Sportbike Tire Service (STS): To pre-order tires and pick them up track side, Contact STS @ 888.390.4020 or buy them track side. Get your Michelin swag on!! STS track side hours are: Friday (varies), Saturday 7am - 6pm, Sunday 7am - 2ishpm

    Riders Meeting:
    • There is a MANDATORY rider's meeting everyday at 8:15am.
    • Everyone is required to attend, including spectators if they are in the paddock.
    • The riders meeting will be held in front of the Tech Shed. Please be on time.

    Hot Track Schedule:
    • At 9am the Novice group reports to the classroom (immediately following the riders meeting) and Intermediate group goes on track first following the below schedule:
    **Intermediate Group 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00
    **Advanced Group 9:20, 10:20, 11:20, 12:20, 2:20, 3:20, 4:20, 5:20
    **Novice Group 9:40, 10:40, 11:40, 12:40, 2:40, 3:40, 4:40, 5:40
    Please note that Lunch will be held from 1:00PM - 2:pM (Four sessions before lunch).

    We ride R*** or shine, please come prepared for the weather.:eek:

    ***Please keep your area clean do not leave any race gas cans, tires, plastic water bottles or any other garbage when you leave.***
