See the map up above..... it shows the "car" configuration - we'll be using the normal bike configuration - turn 12a and the chicane at turns 3-4. Gates open approx 5:00pm Friday evening until 10pm. Then 7am-9pm on Saturday and 7am-4pm on Sunday. Road Atlanta is in the Eastern Time Zone. Note: Everyone needs to stage in the staging lanes, as you come through there you will pay your gate fee and get your wristband, and then security will let you in to the track. ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR WRISTBAND YOU CAN COME 24/7 THROUGH SECURITY. There is $5/person per day gate fee for Sportbike Track Time events at Road Atlanta - Bring some cash with you! (no charge for camping or the limited power though). Because of the track configuration for motorcycles, we will be using the "inner" paddock Thermosman will be there for your suspension needs! Woo Hoo!!!! The Paddock Grill will be open for lunch both days - they will have their food truck in the paddock - so no need to walk over to the outer paddock . __________________________________________________________________ PLEASE NOTE OUR ON TRACK SCHEDULE: Saturday: 9am-12pm, 1pm-5pm (ie: normal) Sunday: 9am-10am, 12pm-6pm (ie: not normal) There is a MANDATORY rider's meeting BOTH days at 8:20am. If you are not at this meeting... we will pull your sticker and you will not ride. Registration ONLY will be open Friday evening when we get set up - around 6pm. Tech and Registration open 7am Saturday and Sunday morning, and close at 8:15am for the rider's meeting. They will re-open after the rider's meeting and close for the day at 10:30am. Road Atlanta is in the EASTERN time zone. If you are riding both days, you only need to register and tech once - on Friday night / Saturday morning. Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras: - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed. We ride R*** or shine, come prepared. Unfortunately, there is a $5.00 gate fee per day for anyone entering 16 years of age or older at this track. BRING SOME CASH WITH YOU. Camping is allowed and free. We are using the "new" turn twelve (technically 12a) and the chicane at turn two-three. We are using the "new" (inside) pit area. There is very little 30 or 50 amp power in Road Atlanta's pits. If you have a generator, bring it. Tire service will be open Friday night, all day Saturday, 7am-3pm Sunday. We bring over 100 tires to each event at killer prices, if you need tires, wait till you get there. Gas is available at the track, its race gas and pricey, there is a jiffy mart thingy about 2 miles from the track. Showers are available. Pets are allowed but MUST be on a leash at all times.
