Don't lower your forks, please. It is too extreme action imho just to fix braking issues. Also check if the rotors are not moving sideways on floating rings. After some hard intense usage of brakes stock rotors tend to build more and more lose over there. Try to hold the rotor with your hand and see how much it moves from one side to the other. If there is much movement on floating rings it is dangerous to use them. PS: I hope my English is good enough and you can understand me
Well I used the rotor hone. Didn't fix it. So I ordered new rotors and pads. EBC xc rotors and a set of performance friction .07 pads. Hopefully this fixes it.
The brake pads and rotors fixed the problem. No more shake. On a side not what a difference in braking feel. With the stock rotors and Vesrah rjl pads there was a ton if initial bite and that was pretty much the braking power that I had. With the EBC rotors and the performance friction .07 carbon / metallic pads there isn't the initial bite but rather a progressive growth in braking power very smooth. Both stop very well but with my new set up I'm way more comfortable trail braking. So you guys were right it was the brakes.
That's good to hear, forgot to talk about this during the pro-school. I put on EBC-Prolite rotors & RJL pads, last year, love what I am feeling from them.
