Putting my bike up for sale- I love it but currently doing more horse riding than bike riding and I don't see the point in letting it sit unused. I bought the bike earlier this year, title was lost before previous owner but VIN search is clear. Pretty much stock except I changed the pegs and windscreen and added stomp grips to tank. Attack Kawasaki fairings, set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas with one Novice track day on them. Bike has never been down with me and has good fairings. 13,000 miles on ODO. Will probably put in on Ebay but want to see if anyone here wants it first. Thanks.
Dave, you need that bike! will be a nice upgrade from the bumblebee. are you signed up for barber in oct? Ski
Asking $3000, but it someone were to buy it soon (like over the barber weekend), I'd be willing to be a little flexible. Make me an offer. The longer it takes to sell the more I want to keep it... Working all day Friday and Sat but could get hubby to meet or I'm free Sunday. Thanks, DJ
Sorry, just looked at this thread and saw replies. I have no idea about getting the title, I'll call the DMV and ask. It is still for sale. Price lowered to $2800.
Official word from DMV is that the owner listed would have to apply for it, and that was three owners ago counting me. I've heard there are other options, like through a title company, but I can make no guarantees about it. I did search the VIN and it came up clean. So selling it as a track bike only right now, $2800.
the best option right now to ensure it is clean is have the 5-0 come over to your place and run their VIN check on it. as long as it's clean it would be fine as a track only bike with no title...i think... but still would like to have it transfered
I have a friend who is in law enforcement, I will ask him if he can run it and then I could give more assurances beyond just my online check. But it isn't much of an issue if it is used only as a track bike; it's just to assure the buyer that it isn't stolen. I will give a bill of sale to buyer, of course.
Bike shows clean, no theft reports or recalls noted. So it is a clean bike just without a title for riding in the road. great track bike. Best offer above $2400 gets her. let me know if you're interested. phone is 205.514.5756
Has it sold yet? I'm a vertically challenged rider looking for a manageable track bike without spending a ton at first. :thumb:
Not sold yet, but pushing to get it gone in next two weeks. Gotta pay some bills. Make me a (reasonable) offer!
Bump- STILL for sale. Seriously? Nobody needs a new bike? It would look really good with a big Christmas bow on it...
