    Hi, all.

I'm full of it today...questions, that is.

The Full Monte: What's it like? Is it planned to be a sold out show? Dare I ask...as crowded as this past Labor Day weekend event?

Does the cool weather start to pose a problem? Should I bring someone to cuddle with?

    Cheers,
    Brad

Full Monti is the entire 4.1 mile monticello course. the section you rode on Sunday plus the south course combined. I did it last year STT was the first club ever to do the full.
It most likley will be sold out soon. Ever one I spoke to wants to go.
There is plenty of open track to ride in though. If you get to bunched up just use the hot pit. Or pass them all (safely)
It was cold last year real cold, so long johns etc. or someone as you said. with the cold you have to really lower your tire presure to get some heat in them. I fgure your not running warmers yet , being in novice.
Have fun. I'll be there, I just wish it was a weekend.

I did it last year and I clearly remember there being FROST on the ground driving to the track in the morning. We were all wearing sweatshirts over our perforated leather suits. After lunch, it warmed up a lot. Overall, it was a great day. I think it was sold out last year so expect it again this year.

I was there last year too had a greattime but it was cold and had to put my winter jacket over my leathers everytime I came in. The temperature was 28 in the morning  and only got up to 49 degrees so I guess it warmed up alot.

There are a few decent youtube videos of the MMC full course; I would recommend watching several laps to familiarize yourself with it, which shouldn't be too difficult since you've been on half of it already.

I'll be there on 10/11. It'll be my first time out with STT, so I'm looking forward to meeting some of you guys :D .

Does anybody know if the back straight will have the chicane? Or will it be one long straight?

    I'm psyched! :D

They used the chicane last year. I'm sure they will again this year. Only TPM runs the back straight without the chicane.

I'm all signed up, can't wait to see what the full course is like. It will be my first trackday in A group. Might be goin solo if my buddies can't make it, so if you see a green/black kawi with red leathers, I'd like to meet some of you guys and maybe do a few laps. Open to some pointers from the more experienced guys too :)

Tip for the chicane- Turn in late and hard from the middle of the track. Going in from the outside has the machine pointed too deep in the middle and F**ks up the drive out.
Not to mention it gives you the opportunity go up the inside and pass. It works' for me. Emmm....Nevermind!

Good tip for the Chicane. Is pit-out at the Clubhouse or up by the gravel?

A work opportunity came up, so my advanced spot is for sale. Hate to miss the full course but could really use the money. I put an ad in the events for sale section for anyone interested....SOLD
