I've re-written an old (1980) calculator that works out gearing for different combinations of sprockets and tires. This one isn' t a standard table of rpm/speed data, it's a graphical simulator showing a tacho and speedo, that trace shift points. It also draws 2 gearing diagrams to compare 1 sprocket combination to another. Enter gearing data and hit the 'Shift and Trace' button to run up through the gears tracing shift points on the gauges. Hopefully you'll find this useful. If it needs alterations or additions (or it's useless), please let me know. It runs free online here: https://www.blocklayer.com/rpm-gear-bikes.aspx
So is this a HI, I'm new to the forum post? What does it offer compared to https://www.gearingcommander.com/
Hi, I'm new to the forum. Compared to gearingcommander? Try it, and you tell me - I did ask to let me know if it's useless. There's more that could be done with this calculator, but I won't waste my time if it's not of any benefit.
