    Hi, all.

I'll be heading to MMC from CT by way of I-84 to route 17...and then all those little back roads (via the directions at MMC's website). I did it on my Tiger a couple of weeks ago. Not terrible, except for the construction.

    Anyway...

With all the construction on route 17...will I have any problems getting through the traffic on a Monday morning?

Should I just opt to show up Sunday and find a hotel to stay at?

I don't mind getting up early for the drive.

    Thanks,

    Brad

It's probably better to get a hotel room. that way you're more likely to be well rested in the morning and only have a short drive to the track, rather than the long-is drive through CT & NY, do seven sessions on the track, only to drive back to Connecticut again that day. That's asking a lot! It's best to get to the track as early as possible, so you can get set-up, registered and have your bike through tech in time for the Riders Meeting at 8:20. The gates open at 6:30 Monday morning and are also open from 5-7 sunday night if you want to drop your bike off a little earlier.

    See you soon!

    Thanks.

Any respectable hotels in the area? My daughter wants to pit-crew for me...so something safe.

I come from central jersey. 2 1/2 hour ride. I drive up in the morning and haven't hit traffic yet.

    Thanks, Lance.

I'll definitely do a hotel this first time around. The Lodge sounds nice.

My daughter/pit-crew is excited about this adventure.

    See you all there!
