Ahem... make that at least four girls. ...and yeah, we're at Grattan Sat/Sun and Road America Mon/Tues and the weather is looking rather unfortunate. After last weekend at Autobahn, well... that would be a serious bummer. Lots of rain practice is good I suppose, just wish I had rain tires. (X keeps yelling at me for checking the weather, but I just can't help it.)

It was a pleasure to meet some new folks up there despite the weather that couldn't make up it's mind from one day to the next. My weekend was filled with fun and excitement and it served as a good learning experience as well. Saturday, I rode as a control rider in the I group. This was great as just about every session I had three or four people coming up to me to ask if I would follow them around and give them pointers. I would venture to say that I enjoyed this more than attending a trackday as a rider. Sunday I stepped up to instruct Novice group 5. As a first time instructor, I was a bit apprehensive at first (not knowing the procedural aspect) but took the role with confidence and had a great time too boot. The rain wasn't exactly pleasurable, especially with the super slick concrete patches/sealer that my front Power Race didn't agree with. But the conditions just make everyone more aware of the inputs that need made to the bike in these situations - smooth - smooth - smooth!!! Thanks to STT and DU for the great weekend, thanks to Monte for giving me the opportunity to be part of STT Staff. Now if I can only convince Monte to bring me onboard full time... :lol:
Joe, Didn't know that you were taking photos at Grattan on June 2nd, do you take shots of all the riders or only those who ask you to take pictures prior to or during the event? I only saw a few riders from each group on your website. Thanks.
