True that! I wish each weekend at Grattan was CW/CCW! Two completely different tracks, one location, and balanced tire wear! What else does one need?
I should be there Saturday. Not sure if I'm staying for Sunday or not. Anybody want to share a garage?
Last time they were $60 for the weekend or $40 for one day. Shelter and electricity really all they provide, that and entertainment watching everybody else scramble when it rains. I may ride sunday just haven't decided yet. Staying Sat night to drink:woot: with my friends and make a fool of myself at the Grattan bar. May ride Sunday if I feel like it.:hat: Later Steve
i am bringing the uni-cycle.... going to be some injured drunk people for the riders meetings. LOL! final packing under way, should be there around 6-7pm Ski
stevo, if you read this, and have time, please grab us a 12 pack of CANADIAN SMIRNOFF ICE. I'll pay ya upon delivery! Ski
First bike track day for me (been doing cars for 10+ years). I can't freaking wait for Sunday!! Really looking forward to being one of the noobs again and not sitting in the passenger seat and praying that my student doesn't kill me lol. I've got a red '04 R6 and will be there with my brother on his gsxr and a buddy on his buell, please swing by and say hey if you see us! Just out of curiosity, how are instructors assigned on bike days? Do they take us out in groups or is it 1:1?
For novice, there's normally around 3-6 people per group. It kind of depends on attendance for the day. You'll ride a session and then have a classroom session for most of the day.
Wish I were there to hang, ride and party with my track buddies. On a good note, my daughter is being released from the hospital after receiving a new hybrid Cochlear Implant and will now be able to hear birds chirp in her left ear :cheer:. I don't think she has ever heard them. hope to see some of you at ACC next weekend.
