+1 A tighter Turn 5 is waiting for you after the hump on clockwise... not much time to setup for it. I like to know how it goes too
I did this in counter... http://www.ohio-riders.net/picture.php?albumid=565&pictureid=5780 so we will see how clockwise goes...
i don't know...some slow guy named batey says he doesn't hit the brakes there. but what does that old fart know.
running clockwise, the hump is nowhere near as abrupt as it is CCW. stick to the left sife of the hump a few feet from the grass), keep on the gas, and DO NOT touch the brakes coming down the back side of the hump. take T5 without the brakes and slide through, rolling the throttle back a bit. if you run the proper line, you can do it without brakes. the corner isn't as sharp as it looks if you run the proper line.
lets not get carried away, though....that 'stay on the gas' advice will make for some serious entertainment. wait a minute...that will make for some good pictures. and i'm the camera guy....... forget it. carry on. don't mind me.
 One serious question... I've been riding in A group for awhile, and on a good day will turn 19s at Putnam, 41s at Mid-Ohio... But this will be my first trip to Grattan, and I've heard it's pretty tricky to learn. Should I go ahead and sign up for A group anyway, or sign up for I and bump up later?
Cocked ,Locked and Ready to Rock I'm paid in full!! For Saturday and a night of fishing and maybe Sunday Track time.................Summer is over to soon here in Michigan.....................Suckville!
ok we need to stop the threadjack, and get back to business. LOL! is this a three class event, or all in two? the schedule says 3 class std event, the latest newsletter says all in two. which is it? please monte chime in. you are the man, and the rest of us/them are just guessing. ski
3 class event as I am signed up for Novice on Sat and I group on Sun. Sean is running Novice both days.
Yeah I just got done registering and it was broken down for standard three class structure. I will be up there for both days with a couple of friends hopefully.
Anybody have some decent video of Grattan CW? I'm not having a lot of luck with YouTube, finding anything at a decent pace to look at for lines.
