oh no, was the guy who did the wheelie an older gentleman? I taught him last summer in the novice for another track org. Super nice man. What a bummer I hope he isn't too bad.
Very nice "epic" and "not-so-epic" wheelie pics. Hope the rider gets well and gets back on the track soon.
with any luck they should be up by tonight. I only have dialup out where I live so I have to drive someplace to find broadband.
yes he was an older gentleman. always wore a straw hat. i worked with him earlier this year. I guess we should have concentrated on wheelies instead of corner speed i think he is gonna be good in no time but both his hands were hurting pretty bad. i helped strap his bike down cause he couldn't move his hands.
Maybe the cup and string method would work better? On the other hand... I was flipping through the sat pics and didn't see any instructor/coach pics. Maybe I just missed them but do you typically shoot the staff as well?
I should have the rest of Sunday uploaded tonight or tomorrow. My day job sent me to Indianapolis but I'm still able to upload them from the hotel here. Please be patient if you place an order, my wife has to fill them and she's not as enthusiastic about editing photos as I am, I'll have to step her through it via IM after I get back to the hotel, typically after 10pm. I was up until 2am last night uploading and then up at 6am to go to work. Generally when I go out of town I work 16 hour days 7 days a week so it might take some time to fill orders. 20 hour work days for the next two weeks should be interesting lol.
I'm in the field right now. I won't be back at the hotel until after 10pm tonight. I'd give your finger a rest until then lol.
I haven't laughed so hard in a long time, and I hate to do so at another's expense. Hopefully this bloke will be healed up enough to laugh at it as well in the not-too-distant future. Great stuff!
Roadracingworld.com Crash Page! 00Photo.com "I did catch that wheelie! When I spoke to him later his hands weren't doing so good. He was going in for xrays. Hope he heals quick. He's getting his shots on me." These images should be submitted to Roadracingworld.com for their crash page. Something this spectacular is sure to get published!
yeah...i really felt for the guy, too. it's evan egrin. super nice guy. had a fall last time at grattan too. having a rough summer. especially coming from an fjr to the gsxr.... hope he heals up quick and gets back on the horse.
i placed an order a couple days ago. looking forward to seeing my rather sad little prat fall on turn 1.
