Yes, I must admit it was a great day. Kinda cold and over cast but whadda you know, the sun came out at 2pm! On the other hand, something in the engine on the Mille broke and I ended up driving 3 hours back home to pick up my 996. Hopefully it will be a better day Sunday.
Great day. Rode in group six with Mike. Thanks great ride. And the suspension work with Jason was worth every penny. Bike felt solid and helped me push myself a little harder and I learned that much more about my bike and my abilities. Thanks Again Black Speed Trip. ALEX
Jesse, any idea what happened to your Mille. Being an Aprilia owner I would be interested in what happened? John
Nope, a friend was riding it when it quit. I did have some issues with the oil light coming on previously but checked the pressure a number of times and it was above the min. 7.25 psi - 80 deg C. and at 1200 rpm... It still turns over but there are some banging sounds comming from inside... well off to Det. Eurocycles it goes. And Sunday was beautiful!!! The 996 performed flawlessly, I am constantly (and pleasantly) suprised by the grip of the Pilot Power tires.
Couple of videos I shot . I was the guy on the black 91 FZR with the drug dealer chrome frame. I had a great time , couldn't have asked for better weather http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...692028875023100 Ignore the missed gears shifts I have so much to learn about MO , some of my lines need work to say the least. But that little Fizzy has a lot of heart . The father of the current 600 bikes. The other one , thanks to Robert (Instructor) on the Duke 748 for the pointers http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...451208250887087
