dubblernr I have responded to your PM.

It seems to me this person may have been part of the Doug Polen school. Their staff and students wear almost the identical vest we do.

Doug is very good at what he does and his staff is very competent also but some times the students just try too hard.

This sounds like an isolated incident but I will make David aware of this issue so we can reduce the chances of this happening again.

I am sorry this happened to you.

I hope to see you at the next event.

    K

I had an awsome time both days. At first i didn't like northccw only because I knew it the other way, from the full last year. But then I got it all down Took a good part of the day for me. I really liked it once I could ride it
    .
I was in I and did not find there were not many coaches to follow at the grid.

My other complant was the grid marshall was letting people out as dave said at meeting, But then the left line would be empty w 2 lines full. Then the late comers would come on the left rolling up. The marshall would point them out. And leave everyone who was the 5 min before top of the hour waiting.
I think if you want to ride be there on time.

Duc Dave thanks for following me around Sunday at the end of the day. ( even though you were working w novice you took time to help me)
It's always a pleasure, I may have to come back to novice if you stay there. Your words gave me a lot of confidence for monday's day. I was just feeling like I was going real slow all day. But maybe it's just because I'm fresh from novice and I'm used to doing the passing instead of getting passed.I guess I have to work my way up there.
Thanks to all the staff, members, Mother nature for a great 2 days of riding. See you at the Full next month.

This was my first track day, (I did Sunday and Monday) and I have to say that what might have been a daunting experience ended up being an incredibly fun, rewarding time. I had some issues with my registration that the ladies at the front table took care of without issue. I was in Novice - I had three coaches over the two days, and they were all really helpful. Everyone seemed not only like they wanted to be friendly for business purposes, but that they actually cared about the folks there.

There was a great family-ish atmosphere with all the other riders. I never felt like folks were looking at me funny being a newbie, (especially since I was in the dirty, well-traveled Aerostich). I met a few people for the first time, and had a couple of guys with whom I shared a few laps. I had one stomach-dropping moment when I got the meatball, but after I pitted in (out?) the coach told me he confused me with another rider. Phew!

I'm definitely looking at the 11OCT full Monti, and already trying to sort out how I can get out there next year as often as possible. Thanks to everyone at STT for being so friendly, helpful, and encouraging. It was an absolute pleasure.

 - confused you with the other guy in the bright yellow Aerostich!!???

You were indeed a credit to the touring rider rockin his ride! You looked great out there....now, say goodbye to any disposable income you used to have!

Hope to be at the full in Oct myself!

If this is Sean that was my fault. I was trying to get someone else's attention because she had a complaint about a Novice rider. I wanted to bring her in so she could point out the culprit :) Plus I wanted to head out with her for a few laps.

You did nothing wrong man and I'm really sorry for throwing the meatball at you. My bad.

Jim - if this is the Jim that was parked next to us on Sunday, I hope your son had a great time out there. He was doing pretty well, and I bet he could pick up road racing just as well as dirt racing.

Jeff - no problem. I wasn't upset, but that whole lap I was thinking "oh crap, have I been riding like a tool this whole time?" I was pretty relieved that it wasn't me!
