What a great weekend at Road Atlanta. It was hot and sunny all day Saturday, but the weather held till after the track day was over for the day. Sunday started out overcast which kept temps down, but the sun came out in the afternoon. It was a great weekend with very few red flags and no one being transported that I heard of.

We also had a great novice class both days, especially at such a hard track to teach at with the speeds that are obtainable! Great job to everyone in the novice class.

I had a great time on the 2up session too.

Beez and I 2up on the FZ1 in T12 on Sunday.

It was a great two days for me. I've done the novice class a few times now, and I learned the most this time doing the back to back days. Road Atlanta is a hard course to learn. Barber is much better for learning because it is much more technical. It is really amazing how fast you can go in some of the corners, especially turn 1. I'll be back a lot next year (hopefully).

I thought it was a fabulous weekend at Road A as well! This was the first STT track day I have been able to attend this year, but last year I was a regular. I would also like to give thumbs up to the students in the novice class on both Sat. & Sun. This was by far the BEST novice track days I have attended with STT EVER!!! :p Thanks STT & novice instructors especially Felix!!!

This was my second track weekend at Road Atlanta, and my fourth with STT. I was also in Novice with Sweetcheeks, with Felix as our group leader. Felix is a wonderful addition to your Novice instructor group. He is positive and confidence inspiring, while still addressing things that could be improved. I have seen my share of wrecks in the Novice class, but this was the best I've seen. Hats off to everyone in the Novice classes both days, and to the STT staff. They are the best!!

Re: Road Atlanta 1st STT Track Day!

I was the guy on the black RR next to you in the paddock. Sorry about the bike. I hope the damage was minor. Saturday was a very good day and that particular Novice group had some very fast folks in it. Glad you had a good time. Hope we see you at Barber sometime. It's my home track and I would highly recomend it for the fun factor. The F4 is a perfect bike for that track.

BTW, I'm always happy to lend a hand loading the bike. Hope it's all repaired and back on the street.
