Travis went, and he was raving about how great it was. I've ridden the old pavement. It was like a war zone, but what a layout! The last complex of curves reminded me of Deal's Gap. I'd love to try the new pavement, but there are just so many STT events closer to me....

Do they run counterclockwise at HPT? Well I can't believe no one else has been to the newly repaved track yet. Looks like I will be signing up for the sat sun at the end of the month. Have heard good things so far.

When I was there, the course ran counterclockwise. It really is a challenging track, and with new pavement must be the absolute bomb. Hope you have a great time!

I've been there three times so far this year. I have always liked the layout of HPT but hated the track surface. The new repave is awesome, and now they have re-added the carousel from days of old. I would say now that HPT is one of my favorite tracks nationwide.

Also, not to mention that our Michelin tires look awesome after over 200 miles of abuse there on my CBR 1000RR!

If you make it out there, you won't regret it!

Hi Gang. I'm new to STT but I've been riding Hallett here close to home for about 3 years. I'll be out Saturday to watch and Sunday to ride. Can't wait to try out a new track!!!

WOW! HTP is one BEECHIN' track! Smooth, sticky, and Ohmygawdfastslowtightsweepingtechnicaltrickysweet! Two, count them, TWO carrousell turns!  My DOT tires look like slicks, my knee pucks are still warm, and I just can't stop grinning! If you weren't there, you weren't having the kind of fun that makes you smile until your face hurts....

HPT was absolutely awesome. By far the best track in the midwest. It has everything you would want in a track. If you haven't been there you need to go and you will be hooked. Rob and his staff were great and were top draw professionals. I can't wait to go back. This is a must on everyone's list, hopefully next year we can get more dates.
